Sentar is seeking a Technical Writer in Huntsville, AL!
Role Description:
Sentar is seeking a professional Technical Writer to draft, create, review, and update responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs). You will provide continuous technical writing support in developing proposal content to include past performance descriptions and white papers.
Responsibilities:
- Draft accurate, compliant, responsive, compelling text for government proposals, including background/context, executive summary, past performance description, resumes, and technical approach overview.
- Translate technical and other ideas into understandable text.
- Determine proposal concepts by studying requests for proposal (RFPs, RFIs, etc.), completing capability matrices, and attending strategy meetings.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with subject matter specialists and convert information into outlines and meaningful proposals.
- Work with the proposal team to develop visually compelling graphics.
- Write clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections.
- Rewrite and review proposal sections and related proposal documents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably technical, but not required)
- 3 years of previous government proposal writing experience
- Minimum Qualifications (required skills, experience with technology, etc. needed)
- Must have the ability to understand and communicate high-level information and its effect to a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills * Technical background and/or experience is preferred
