Sentara Specialty Pharmacy is hiring a Specialty Pharmacy Tech I in Chesapeake, VA!
Schedule: Full time, Monday thru Friday between 8am and 5pm.
Required: VA Pharmacy Tech License and CPhT (if licensed after July 2022)
Preferred: Third party online adjudication experience and outpatient pharmacy or long-term care pharmacy experience.

Job Summary
The Specialty Pharmacy Technician I will ensure accurate and timely data entry, product dispensing, and packing of prescription orders and will be responsible to provide exceptional customer service. The technician will work in a high volume fulfillment and/or call center environment on a multi- disciplinary team. Routine interaction with specialty pharmacy patients with complex medication needs requiring high touch care and follow-up.
Third party online adjudication experience and outpatient pharmacy or long term care pharmacy experience preferred.
Registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician required
Qualifications:
HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Certifications - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
