Job Description:
Implements plan of care for specific patient population. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care in the peri-operative environment.
May substitute training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training program.
Qualification & Certification:
Required for Certified Surgical Technician:
TS - Trade School Graduate in Surgical technologist
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Other/National
Virginia Surgical Techs are required to be Licensed with the VBOM.
Required for OR Technician:
TS - Trade School Graduate in Surgical technologist
