The Lead Assembly Technician is responsible for leading a team of assembly technicians, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Lead acts as the point person for the assembly teams and partners with management to ensure quality products are produced. This position is on-site in Sandpoint, ID, Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of assembly technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance
- Identify training needs and provide necessary training to team members
- Provides feedback on manufacturing document changes and process improvements
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the production/assembly of ventilators, breathing circuits, and accessory kits
- Proven experience as a Lead Assembly Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
