Your primary duties will involve monitoring loan and account delinquencies while implementing effective collection policies and procedures to resolve outstanding balances. In this role, you will manage all aspects of debt collection for consumer and business loans, including real estate and credit card accounts, as well as overdrawn balances. Your primary responsibilities will involve the ongoing collection of delinquent loans and accounts through various methods such as phone calls, letters, and personal contact. You will also monitor member account balances, process payments for past due loans, and handle all related documentation accurately. Additionally, you will be involved in arranging repossessions when necessary, processing bankruptcy filings, and filing small claims paperwork. Maintaining effective communication with secondary vendors for collection assistance, as well as ensuring compliance with collection regulations, will be key aspects of your role. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive discussions with empathy are essential. Requirements / Preferences :
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Direct collections experience preferred.
College education preferred.
Combination of acceptable experience and education.
