What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Book Manager position at SENTINEL GROUP LLC?
The PBO Manager is responsible for all Property Book operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Property Book Manager will be the primary Contractor POC through which the site PBO/Responsible Officer (RO) will coordinate Government requirements. Duties include:
Managing Military Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) and Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) requirements
Managing Hand Receipts of tools and equipment assigned to Accountable Officers
Developing and implementing the PBO standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Attending meetings, preparing reports and documentation as needed
Resolving supply and property management issues and requirements identified during the period of performance of the contract.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Candidate must demonstrate capability to manage property book office operations in support of an Army Installation in addition to the following:
Experience managing a team
Proficiency with the GCSS-Army system
Possess In-depth knowledge of supply program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to Supply/Property Book Accountability and supply areas of logistics operations
Experience at the Division property book level required
Possess comprehensive knowledge of applicable supply and equipment management processes and related regulations
Ensure effective accountability of all assigned property
Thorough knowledge of analytical techniques and causative research skills to identify areas of needed emphasis to recommend improvements
Ability to work with computers and management information systems
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
Minimum Job Requirements:
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance
Must have as a minimum a high school diploma
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of Army property management experience
Candidate must have a valid CDL for light vehicles.
