What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Security Support Engineer position at Sentinel Offender Services?
Responsibilities
Sentinel is seeking a Network / Security Support Engineer to join our team. In this role you will need to identify, troubleshoot, escalate and communicate technical issues and resolutions with the customer. You should have a strong technical background, structured & organized approach, and be Customer Service oriented. This is a full-time position that can be remote but must provide occasional support onsite at the Tempe, AZ office location.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience with Network Security including FTD, ACI, SD- Access, SD-WAN, and ASA
- 5 years of experience with implementing various routing protocols in an MPLS Network
- 5 years of experience with Cisco routers and switches
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, Fortinet and / or Palo Alto Firewalls is required
- Experience with F5, Load balancer, VXLAN
- Experience with wireless technology is highly preferred
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE certifications are preferred
- Excellent communication skills is required
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
