We are looking for highly skilled and reliable individuals to join our team as Armed Security Officers.
About the Job:
This is a full-time and part-time position available, with various shifts including Saturday mornings.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and secure assigned premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
Requirements:
- Strong candidates will have their Virginia Armed DCJS License (Training is available if other requirements are met)
- Highly preferred 2 years of armed security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience
- Must be capable of meeting physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- First Aid and CPR/AED certified
