Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, personalized care to individuals, enhancing their quality of life.
- Support with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Facilitate mobility and assist with transfers to promote independence.
- Engage in light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment.
Experience:
- Prior experience in caregiving or a similar role is desirable.
- Understanding of senior care principles and experience with autism care is beneficial.
- Knowledge of home care protocols and practices.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting and assisting with mobility.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Skills:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions effectively.
