What are the responsibilities and job description for the EIDBI Level 2 Provider (Hmong and Karen language speakers) position at Senzilla Health Services?
Job requirement- Meet all the following requirements:
Job Description for Level II or provider Position:
· At least be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in one of the behavioral or child development sciences or allied fields (such as, but not limited to, mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, or occupational therapy) from an accredited college or university. Also receive observation and direction from a qualified supervising professional or Level I treatment provider at least twice per month until meeting 1,000 hours of supervised clinical experience.
· Have an associate's degree in a behavioral health or child development science or related field including, but not limited to, mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, or occupational therapy from an accredited college or university; and at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience in delivering treatment to people with ASD or a related condition. You may include hours worked as a mental health behavioral aide or Level III treatment provider in the required hours of experience.
· At least have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience in delivering treatment to people with ASD or a related condition. You may include hours worked as a mental health behavioral aide or Level III treatment provider in the required hours of experience.
· Must be graduate student in a behavioral science, child development science, or related field and I am receiving clinical supervision by a QSP affiliated with an agency to meet the clinical training requirements for experience and training with people with ASD or a related condition.
· Be at least 18 years of age and fluent in a non-English language and have completed the Level III EIDBI training requirements. Will receive observation and direction from a QSP or Level I EIDBI provider at least once a week until Will meet the requirement of 1,000 hours of supervised clinical experience.
Job role:
1. Family training- 1-1 training to parents.
2. Level II will train parents how to be self-sufficient.
3. Level II will work with parents on the goals and objectives the child is being taught at the center.
4. Level II will write progress notes.
5. Level II will educate parents on safety.
6. Level II will advocate for parents in community services and with school staff.
7. Level II will participate in EIP.
8. Level II will join monthly meeting with the whole team.
9. Level II will provide culturally sensitive services.
Level II will help with family in any legal services
