ROLE
We seek an exceptional closer and retainer capable of achieving remarkable results in the SEO Meets REI Sales and Customer Success role. The role will sell SEO agency services to inbound & outbound prospects while managing a pipeline of prospects. As the company's front-facing person, you are the most essential component of our client's customer experience. This role understands that they are more than Sales; they are the first impression a prospect will get of the company, and thus, they must be professional, friendly, an effective communicator, and excellent at building rapport. You must be motivated by helping clients achieve the highest levels of success in real estate. We are seeking someone with at least one year of commission sales experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for new client onboarding, existing client management, nurturing, and, most importantly, retention. This role demands time and attentiveness (far more so than a traditional 9-5 job). They will work closely with the owner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct scheduled onboarding calls for new clients.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Prospect for leads on social media, LinkedIn, and cold-calling real estate investors.
- Communicate with existing clients regularly to inform them of the progress of their campaign.
- Contact clients requesting to cancel to see where things went wrong and retain.
- Build trust and transparency with all clients.
- Move all prospects to the proper pipeline stage via CRM throughout the day.
- Maintain a clear, up-to-date, and accurate pipeline in our CRM.
- Follow up diligently and consistently with potential clients over extended periods.
- Document all interactions with all prospects and clients in the notes section of CRM, escalating to the Support team as needed.
- Educate prospects on what we offer from an expert's perspective.
- Allow the owner to shadow calls and give feedback.
- Available minimum of five days per week with evening and weekend work as needed.
- Use internal and external resources to maintain up-to-date knowledge of our offer and the real estate investor space.
- Be mindful of any emerging patterns of negative client feedback and report them to the owner.
- Limit churn by speaking to customers who have issues.
RESULTS
- Maintain or exceed an overall month-on-month closing rate of 50%.
- Maintain or improve our overall month-on-month total churn rate of 3%.
- Respond to customer inquiries and have them resolved within 12 hours.
- All qualified prospects are consistently and indefinitely followed up with.
- There is an effective line of communication between this role and the owner in which all necessary information is communicated promptly.
- Continuously improve communication skills.
- All internal communication cycles are adequately followed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Highly motivated and hungry to grow and become a top sales earner.
- To be considered for this role, at least one year of commission sales experience.
- A minimum of 8.5 hours of time slots are open daily for onboarding/retention calls.
- Weekend work will be necessary.
- Proven work experience with client retention, customer success & sales.

- Excellent communication skills, including listening and facing conflict head-on.
- Excellent at building rapport.
- Willing to work in the fast-paced environment of a startup company.
- Open to learning new processes in sales.
- Responsible, self-sufficient, and able to properly manage one's own time.
- Well-organized and able to maintain a pipeline that the team can observe and understand.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience as a real estate investor is preferred but optional.
- Must be able to attend real estate events and hit in-person sales KPIs.
COMPENSATION
- $60K yearly base plus quarterly bonuses for performance. (Target OTE is ~100K)
