Sushi Chef , Sushi helper

Hiring: Sushi / Poke / Ramen Team Member
(Inside UTSA Cafeteria)

We are a Japanese grab-and-go restaurant located inside the UTSA Cafeteria, offering fresh sushi, poke bowls, and ramen. We are looking for reliable and hardworking team members to join our team.

Working Hours:

• Starting from 5:00 AM (Part-time & Full-time positions available, flexible scheduling)

Job Duties:

• Prepare and set up grab-and-go sushi for display
• Make poke bowls and ramen bowls to order
• Restock sushi and other items as needed throughout the day
• Handle delivery packing and preparation
• Operate the register and assist customers
• Clean and sanitize workstations, prep ingredients for the next day

Requirements:

• Responsible and dependable individuals
• Able to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required (we will train)
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

• Safe and clean workplace inside the university cafeteria
• Friendly and supportive team atmosphere

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
