Your Role at Sephora:
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition leader to join our team at Sephora! In this role, you will oversee and elevate our high-performing TA function, drive strategic hiring initiatives, and share the future of our recruitment practices. This is a unique opportunity to influence business growth, champion diversity, and lead a team passionate about bringing top talent into our organization.
This is a hybrid-based position, requiring 2 days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday) in-office at our beautiful San Francisco HQ (FSC).
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team: Mentor and guide a skilled TA team responsible for hiring all Exempt and Non-Exempt positions across all corporate functions, including Technology. Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Strategic Talent Partnership: Collaborate with Senior Leaders and HR Business Partners to forecast talent needs and serve as a strategic advisor for executive and critical hiring across the business. We aim for proactive excellence, while recognizing reactive needs within the TA function.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Build and implement streamlined, scalable recruiting processes that ensure consistency, efficiency, and a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Champion DE&I: Integrate DEI best practices into every stage of the hiring process – from inclusive job descriptions to interview methodologies, ensuring measurable progress in hiring outcomes.
- Leverage Data & Analytics: Use TA metrics and insights to inform strategy, guide business leaders, report on KPIs and make informed decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize Systems & Tools: In close partnership with HR Systems partners, design and implement system enhancements to improve recruiting performance, candidate experience, and internal satisfaction.
We’re Excited If You Have:
- 8-12 years of progressive recruiting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing recruiting teams and operations.
- Well-rounded expertise across all facets of TA including, Employer Branding, sourcing, recruiting, candidate assessment, onboarding and passive engagement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with ATS and CRM tools; experience with SuccessFactors and EightFold is a plus.
- Proven ability to build, refine, and scale a talent acquisition strategy that improves efficiency and drives measurable results.
- Strong track record partnering with senior business leaders across all corporate functions. Prior experience in technical recruitment is highly desirable.
- A passion for and demonstrated impact embedding DE&I practices throughout the recruitment process.
The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $218,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
