Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to oversee and enforce quality processes on the production floor. The QA Lead will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This individual will be responsible for identifying and mitigating quality issues, training employees on quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, enforce, and monitor quality control processes throughout production to ensure compliance with SOC2 and HITRUST standards.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of mail production to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to customer specifications.
- Work closely with Production, Compliance, and Quality teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues in real-time.
- Lead root cause analysis for quality defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Maintain detailed quality records and prepare reports on quality metrics for management.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality procedures, best practices, and standard work processes to drive a culture of quality.
- Act as a liaison between production teams and management to communicate quality concerns and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in internal audits and compliance assessments to ensure continued adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
- Support Lean and/or Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) β Required.
- 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a print, mail, manufacturing, or regulated production environment.
- Strong knowledge of SOC2, HITRUST, or other regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Hands-on experience implementing quality processes on the production floor.
- Proficiency in quality inspection methods, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and coach team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with KPI tracking, data analysis, and reporting.
