Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the performance and reliability of Sepro robotic systems through expert installation, startup, maintenance, and repair services.
This position requires frequent travel to customer sites for on-site support. The successful candidate will have strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Startup & Installation:
Ensure a secure work environment by following all safety protocols.
Oversee and assist customers with equipment unpacking and initial setup.
Validate system installation, including mechanical setup and cable positioning.
Test and verify robot functionality, including integration with presses and peripheral systems.
Program and configure robotic systems to meet production specifications.
Repair & Service:
Utilize diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Conduct inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and execute necessary repairs.
Customer Training & Support:
Provide hands-on, on-site training for customers on robot operation, programming, and maintenance.
Offer remote troubleshooting and technical support via our dedicated hotline.
Qualifications:
A minimum of two years of experience in field service, preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial machinery.
An associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
The ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and wiring schematics.
Proficiency with diagnostic instruments, basic hand and power tools, and field equipment.

Compensation details: $50,000 - $75,000 yearly salary.
