We are seeking candidates for the position of Bus / Light Rail Operator, City / Suburban (2200 / 2100) and Light Rail Operator in City and Suburban Transit that have a desire to serve the public and invest in your future and grow within the company

OVERALL DESCRIPTION
Drive vehicles over specified routes or to specified destinations according to time schedules, complying with traffic regulations while ensuring that passengers have a safe ride. Operators will have a guaranteed 40 hours a week.
Salary
- Starting salary is determined by the division you are located at. You can be assigned to either the City or Suburban Transit Division
- Current pay ranges from $24.44
- Maximum hourly pay is $34.91 per hour AFTER 4 years of service
- Operators will have a guaranteed 40 hours a week
- Only guaranteed if physically working

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
CDL / CDL Permit Requirements
If offered the position after interview candidates will be required to present either a Class B or Class A Commercial License with a Passenger endorsement with no restrictions for driving vehicles with Air Brakes
No CDL or Permit - You will be required to obtain a CDL permit (preferably Class B) no later than 2 weeks before the tentative start date.
