What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Help position at SEPTA?
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is the sixth largest transportation system in the United States, with a vast network of fixed route services including bus, subway/elevated, trackless trolley, light rail, and commuter rail serving a 2,200 square mile service region.
We are seeking candidates for the position of Temporary Help (9902) in the B&B/Bridges & Buildings.
SEPTA currently requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination at their pre-employment medical appointment.
Summer Temporary Duty
SUBURBAN DIVISION (Upper Darby)
Seeking temporary landscapers for the summer months.
Duties include: landscaping and weed removal along the track areas of the Norristown High Speed Line, which originates in Upper Darby and goes to Norristown, and the Media Sharon Hill trolley lines
Starting Salary - $18.9211/hour.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED. A valid drivers license is also required.
Please note that these temporary summer positions will not lead to full time work and the position will end at the end of summer.
Family members of SEPTA employees, will be given initial consideration.
