What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Sequoia DC?
Sequoia located in the Washington Harbour is hiring for the season! We are looking for dynamic hosts who are highly motivated individuals with a passion for hospitality and service. Experience is preferred but hospitality is a must. This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the highest grossing restaurants in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities for Hosts include:
- Extending a warm and welcoming greeting to each guests
- Managing online and in house reservations
- Answering phone calls in a clear and professional manor
- Possess a strong desire to grow and learn
Requirements:
- Prior host experience in a restaurant/food service environment
-Experience with Resy software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to remain calm and organized especially during high-volume
- Candidate should demonstrate an energetic and friendly personality
