The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time or part-time Van Driver to join our team at Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park, California. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for driving non-CDL vehicles, safely transporting guests between various destinations on and off our property. What will you do?
- Transport guests and associates in a safe manner.
- Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the van and reports any mechanical or safety problems to management.
- Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules.
- Maintains accurate record keeping of passengers census.
- Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately.
- Maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
- Requires valid drivers license.
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three years’ driving experience, a clean driving record and a valid driver license
- Able to safely operate and drive a van and maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication
Physical requirements
- Sufficient vision that is not restricted in the performance of duties, day or night
- Able to sit for long periods, and ability to stand and bend
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate well and hear the traffic and security radio
