What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Sequoyah Animal Hospital?
Sequoyah Animal Hospital is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic professionals to join our team. We are currently looking for a reliable Receptionist to add to our team. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be self-motivated and be a strong team player. We are a busy, growing clinic and we depend on our caring, compassionate and reliable staff to create a positive experience for our clients and patients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and setting up new clients and patients.
- Preparation and maintenance of medical records.
- Checking clients in and out.
- Assisting in filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, and financial transactions.
- Manage mailing, filing, and computer operation.
- Assisting technicians/doctors as needed.
- Front office and reception area maintenance.
Job Requirements:
- Must be accountable, punctual and show up for work with a can-do, positive attitude
- have a passion for excellence in animal care
- have a flexible schedule with availability on weekends and some holidays.
- Must be receptive to training with a positive team attitude.
- AVImark experience is not required, but would be a plus!
