What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Graphic Designer position at Serco North America?
Serco has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-Time Graphic Designer embedded with a federal agency that is headquartered in Washington, DC.
You will be part of a team of training professionals that work closely with the customer’s learning and development office to analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and market the agency’s professional growth programs.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, refine, and publish visual communication products
- Analyze visual communication goals and provide recommendations to meet them
- Design graphics that communicate a clear message
- Adhere to established branding guidelines
- Create multiple mock-ups to provide options
- Conduct revisions as necessary
- Ensure Accessible and 508-compliant design
- Assist agency staff to realize their vision for visual communication
- 4 years of work experience in creating graphic designs for customers
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills, including consultative design
- Ability to pass an agency background check

Proven experience with the Adobe Creative Suite including:
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Acrobat
- Animation programs
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with MS SharePoint and OneDrive
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Experience creating graphics for learning products
- Experience supporting a federal customer
- Experience working remotely
