Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide memory care support, engaging clients in cognitive activities.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents by adhering to established protocols.
- Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed for patient mobility and transfers.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that respects resident rights.
- Implement first aid measures when necessary, ensuring immediate care for injuries.
Experience
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with nursing home settings or similar environments is a plus.
- Skills in patient observation and monitoring are essential for this role.
- Knowledge of first aid techniques is beneficial.
- A commitment to respecting resident rights and promoting their well-being is crucial.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
