Required Skills
- Current x-ray certification
Responsibilities:
- Be able to explain dental procedures to patients, including risks and benefits of treatment options.
- Follow proper procedures for sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Follow proper procedures for disposing of biohazardous material.
- Be able to describe x-rays and other diagnostic procedures.
- Be able to assist dental professionals in performing preventive checkups, fillings, root canals, etc..
- Understand and be able to explain the general costs of dental services.
- Follow dentist's instructions for operating equipment and administering drugs.
- Be able to explain the uses and side effects of drugs to patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
