Company Description
Serenity House, founded in 2015 by Tara Moreno, is a Flint, Michigan-based 501(c) 3 non-profit focused on addiction prevention and recovery. We serve men, women, and adolescents through a Community Resiliency model that empowers individuals to heal from addiction holistically. Our services include advocacy and educational events, Recovery Reiki, Acudetox, mindfulness practices, yoga, aromatherapy, and drumming. We are dedicated to promoting change, awareness, and understanding of recovery while reducing stigma and shame associated with addiction.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Manager located in Flint, MI. The Program Manager will oversee daily operations of addiction prevention and recovery programs, coordinate community events, and manage a team of dedicated staff. Responsibilities include developing and implementing program strategies, overseeing budget and resources, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The role involves interacting with community stakeholders, providing support to clients, and developing new initiatives to enhance service delivery.

- Experience in addiction prevention, counseling, or social services
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and compliance with policies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to holistic and community-based approaches to addiction recovery
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or related field
- Relevant certifications in addiction counseling or program management are a plus
