Job Description:
We are seeking a new Assistant Spa Manager to join the Serenity Spa team!

The Assistant Spa Manager helps the Spa Manager with the entire team. They are in charge of keeping the front desk orderly and functioning and keeping client operations running smoothly. Maintaining a constant running list of weekly tasks to be delegated to front desk employees on tasks related to the schedule and cleaning of the spa.
As the Assistant Spa Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that each guest's visit is a tranquil and memorable experience.
Daily Duties Include, but are not Limited to:
- Acts as Front Desk Coordinator
- Appointment scheduling and management
- Answering calls and managing the efficiency of guest communications
- Responsible for reviewing and correctly charging guests for services
- Sells memberships to guests interested in Spa Services
- Assists practitioners by closing sales of products and services
- Follows all the company policies on breaks, timings and sales
- Ensuring that front desk operations are smooth and are accommodating to guests
- Trains and mentors new Spa Coordinators
- Reports any problems or timing issues to Spa Manager
- Performs walk throughs and keeps spa tidy regularly throughout the day
- Takes practitioner call outs and follows company policy regarding rescheduling guests
- Inventory
- Performs inventory checks based on needs of spa
- Orders inventory for all departments
- Receives inventory shipments
- Prices and puts out inventory according to Managers requests
- Monitors for loss
- Manager on Duty
- When the Spa Manager is out, the Assistant Spa Manager will act as manager regarding any situations that require approval or assistance
- Schedule must be available on opposite days that the Spa Manager is available
- Refunds and Customer Service Calls
- Performs refunds as needed for guests
- Returns the calls of guests who need assistance as needed
- Attends required Leadership Assemblies for managers and all staff meetings

- Timely: always shows up to meetings early and prepared, well groomed and put together to set example for staff
- Leader: always conducts themself in a manner that sets an example for all the other staff
- Knowledgeable: it is required that the Assistant Spa Manager have an extensive knowledge of all the skills and procedures the Spa offers in order to educate both employees and customers.
- Thoughtful: when dealing with conflicts it is important they are calm, meaningful and deliberate with their actions and words
- Considerate: it is important for them to be able to keep information confidential and private when dealing with HR sensitive issues of staff or the private information of Serenitys guests
- Calm: is able to remain calm when guests or staff have emergencies or need support
- Organized: shares plans and organizes thoughts that are easily understood by the rest of their team
- Consistent: follows up with team members on a consistent basis
