Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for guest services, and a solid understanding of hotel management practices.

Duties

  • Assist in managing daily hotel operations, including front desk activities, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Support budgeting and revenue management efforts to maximize profitability while maintaining quality service.
  • Oversee the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate hotel staff to deliver outstanding guest services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Monitor occupancy rates and assist in implementing strategies for maximizing revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the hotel premises.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and night audit procedures.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and revenue management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
