Electrical Control Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in Siemens PLC programming to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• PLC Programming:
• Develop, debug, and optimize Siemens PLC programs (S7-1200, S7-1500, TIA Portal, etc.).
• Configure HMI and SCADA systems to interface with PLCs.
• Implement advanced control strategies for automation systems.
• System Design and Integration:
• Design electrical schematics and control panels using tools like AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
• Integrate PLCs with other equipment, sensors, and actuators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and software issues in existing systems.
• Project Management:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Prepare technical documentation, including functional design specifications and operation manuals.
• Testing and Commissioning:
• Conduct on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of PLC-based systems.
• Perform system diagnostics and implement improvements.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training to operators and maintenance staff on system functionality.
• Offer ongoing support and maintenance for automation tools and systems.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 years of experience in Siemens PLC programming and automation system design.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control theory, and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations (NFPA 79, IEC 61508).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with robotics and motion control systems.
• Knowledge of other PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.).
• Certifications in Siemens PLC programming or automation engineering.
