About Us:
Seroogy’s Chocolates is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. This part-time role is integral to our HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, managing benefits administration, and supporting employee relations. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Hiring: Coordinate staffing needs with managers, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and manage new hire paperwork.
- Benefits Administration: Determine employee eligibility, oversee enrollment, administer benefits, and complete ACA reporting.
- Compliance & Employment Law: Maintain knowledge of state and federal laws, educate leadership, and ensure HR practices align with regulations.
- Employee Relations & Performance: Advise managers on disciplinary matters, document incidents, and assist with terminations.
- Safety & Wellness Programs: Support safety committee meetings, oversee OSHA compliance, and promote workplace wellness initiatives.
- Payroll & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate personnel records and collaborate with payroll services for accurate processing.
- Workers’ Compensation & Leave Management: File claims, track employee leaves (FMLA), and coordinate related documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and benefits administration
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license (for occasional travel)
- Ability to sit for extended periods and retrieve files as needed
