Starter/Golf Shop Assistant

Serrano Country Club, a premier private club in El Dorado Hills, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pro Shop Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Golf Shop. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for golf, service, and retail operations who thrives in a high-end hospitality environment.
Position Highlights:
📍 Location: Serrano Country Club – El Dorado Hills, CA
⏰ Schedule: Full-time with flexibility; weekends and holidays required
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage tee times and online reservations (ForeTees)
• Assist with point-of-sale (Jonas POS) transactions and reporting
• Support merchandise receiving, tagging, displays, and inventory
• Assist with vendor ordering and inventory reconciliation
• Maintain professional appearance and cleanliness of Golf Shop
• Respond to member inquiries and provide excellent service
• Support tournament setup and internal communications
Ideal Candidate:
• Prior golf shop, retail, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with POS systems and Microsoft Office
• Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
