On-Call Residential Advisor

Job Description:

The On-Call Residential Advisor is responsible for providing support and guidance to residents in a residential facility. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The On-Call Residential Advisor will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and supervising residents to ensure their safety and well-being
• Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
• Providing emotional support and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Communicating effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders
• Participating in staff meetings and trainings
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
