Job Summary:
The Residential Advisor is responsible for providing support and guidance to residents living in a residential facility. The advisor will work closely with residents to ensure their safety, well-being, and compliance with facility rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to residents living in the facility
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Organize and lead recreational activities for residents
- Document and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals in a residential setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
