Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Admin with a background in the U.S. logistics and freight industry to manage financial transactions and reporting related to our operations. This is a hybrid role requiring both remote and on-site work. If you excel at detail-oriented tasks and thrive in an independent work environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Book Cleanup: Organize and reconcile the 2024 financial records.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Catch up on client invoicing and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Establish a reliable system for paying vendors on time.
- Maintain compliance with U.S. accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify insights that can improve logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting within the logistics or freight industry.
- Strong skills in invoicing, expense tracking, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of U.S. accounting standards and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Experience with Quickbooks.
- Candidates within a 40-minute commute to Asheville, NC will be prioritized.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role, and candidates near the Asheville, NC office will be preferred for occasional in office meetings.
