Overview
We are seeking a creative freelance designer to help update existing graphics for an ongoing annual Day of Service. We have templates already designed for the Day of Service, they just have to be manipulated and new sponsors added and information updated. Also looking for a creative graphic designer that can be contracted to design event invites and promotional materials as needed and can design ads for newspaper as well as online ads. This job is flexible, would be done remotely using designers own graphic design software. We are also hoping this same person would be interested in doing some personal assistant work helping organize online files, and work files, and assist in ordering and prepping some of the event materials.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging digital art, graphics, and illustrations for a variety of events.
- Help update organizations social media accounts and create content.
- Assist in creating a variety of marketing materials for organization's events.
- Have strong organizational skills and help to organize digital files and physical files.
- Run occasional errands and help with events as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator)
- Ability to work in CapCut, Canva Pro to create engaging promotional material.
- Experience in creating digital art and illustrations.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Reliable, honest, creative and organized.
This job is contract work. It is a great side job for someone that is creative and organized and is looking for a few extra hours a week. Most of the work will be helping an organization that is focused on community service. Hours are flexible and as needed. Help us in staying organized, while also creating impactful designs that contribute to creating meaningful and impactful events.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $28.03 - $32.98 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 4 per week
