Serve is looking for an Engineering Program Specialist to manage Bill of Material configuration, build support and material readiness for the HW team. Successful candidates will have a proven capability for engineering build management, strong organizational skills and experience leading culture and change management. This role requires someone who has a deep understanding of hardware documentation development processes. We are looking for someone who will be able to support a hybrid work environment and be onsite 2 days / week.
Responsibilities
Manage product structure trees to define the BOMs (Bill of Materials) of new and existing products; Optimize product structure to ensure product configurability and commonality of components across products
Advocate of Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes
Responsible for seamless, rapid and global implementation of components, BOMs, documents, and other product data supporting the business strategies and supply chain requirements.
Establish and maintain project workflows, process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), review drawings and provide feedback to engineers, create AVLs and part numbers, and track and report on product release status.
Support engineering team onsite in RWC for inbound and outbound material logistics for engineering needs
Track and organize build materials in preparation of engineering build by inventorying and updating CTB documents.
Drive testing status report of different build configuration and provide weekly reports during engineering build cycles to support cross functional team decision making
Qualifications
5 years of working directly with engineering teams.
3 years of hardware development experience in an engineering support role.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and cross-functional influencing skills.
Proficiency in Arena PLM, Program Management and planning tools.
Experienced using JIRA and Confluence.
Experience working with contract manufacturers.
Experience in one or more of the following industries : automotive, consumer, robotics
Experience managing cross functional programs building processes and coordinating release schedules.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguous situations.
Compensation Range : $110K - $150K
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
