Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to ensure efficient operation in our office environment.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in administrative tasks such as typing, filing, data entry, and other essential services to ensure the proper administration of contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for weekly certification and training audits.
- Maintain and organize personnel files.
- Update personnel passwords and manage computer access.
- Prepare reports, records, and maintain USDA property records.
- Order necessary materials, track inventory, and ensure the proper maintenance of records.
- Answer customer service calls and assist in obtaining permits and licenses in compliance with Federal, state, and local laws.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience of 3 years in administrative support.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in data entry, report generation, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams.
