Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Guard Supervisor to lead and oversee security personnel while ensuring compliance with established procedures and providing exceptional service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring security operations run smoothly and all post procedures are strictly followed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in security services within the past 5 years.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Licensing: Must be a licensed commissioned officer.
Skills and Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of law enforcement and security service procedures.
Training in:
- Laws and liabilities
- Security awareness
- Mediation and conflict resolution
- Disaster and emergency management
- Experience managing personnel at various types of facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Security Guard Supervisor, your primary responsibilities include:
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with Security Guard Post Procedures and Security Operations Procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact and be available at designated sites.
- Supervise and ensure security guards perform assigned tasks at designated service locations.
- Oversee monitoring of contractors and subcontractors at TxDOT facilities, as requested.
Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve identified issues within 24 hours.
- For unresolved issues, immediately notify the TCM by telephone and provide a written follow-up explaining the nature and reason for delays.
Collaborative Responsibilities:
- Develop and submit weekly shift schedules under the direction of the TCM or designated TxDOT representative.
- Ensure and maintain continuous quality of work performed by security guards.
- Provide a written report of corrective actions taken to prevent recurring issues.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
