Summary of Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the ACE Supervisor, this person is responsible for the supervision and day to day programming of youth in the Program as well as supervision of Social Service Aide 1s and Government Services Interns working in the Program. Duties are conducted in accordance with all existing policies, procedures and regulations and in accord with the Mission and Values of the Company
Essential Functions:

Provides participant supervision

Oversees duties of ACE Summer Counselors

Facilitates NYPUM, WEP, and Fairways components

Plans group activities
-
Facilitates group counseling sessions

Interviews
-
Develops/monitors youth contracts

Monitors behavioral modification programs
-
Prepares evaluations
-
Conducts program logistics
-
Supervises/oversees duties of ACE Summer Counselors

Coordinates summer staff orientation, training and instruction

Conduct fundraising events
-
Maintains equipment inventory
-
Attends conferences/meetings
-
Maintains required certifications

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, sociology, or related field is preferred. 2 years' experience working with children or in the human services field
Employment Requirements:
Automobile and Valid Insurance, Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check, Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Social Security Card, Immigration and Naturalization (I-9), Drug Screening Clearance
Working Conditions:
This position is 85% outdoors in varied climates and terrains and requires a great deal of physical activity (ability to ride a minibike, participate in high and low ropes course activities, etc.). Provides transportation to Program Youth on a regular basis. Travel throughout the assigned region may occur and may be in adverse weather conditions. This position will be riding minibikes, instructing others how to ride minibikes, work on a high and low ropes course, swing a golf club, canoe, back pack, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
