Do you have a passion for providing great customer service and problem solving? If yes, then our dispatcher position may be a great fit for you! This position enables you to schedule our service technicians as well as build relationships with our customers. Our dispatch position is the front line of our company and requires exemplary organization and attention to detail. Must also be able to handle doing many tasks at one time.
Responsibilities
- First line of incoming calls – can be large volume – handle service inquiries and discuss our products
- Figure out solutions for customers by scheduling technicians and talking about what we have to offer
- Prepare quotes for repairs and assist in sourcing parts from vendors
- Be trustworthy to our customers and other employees
- Be detailed oriented and provide thorough notes and directions
- On rare occasions, deal with unhappy customers and make it right for them
- Keep documents digitally in proper order and in the correct place
- Keep our technicians busy, if we have an opening, look at our customer base and see what we can do to bring in business
- Put the customer first at all times!
Skills
- Must have a great personality and communication style
- Needs to understand how to prioritize and plan their day accordingly
- History of at least 2 years dispatch experience in the HVAC, Equipment / construction service, or other service oriented industries
- Must enjoy being on the phone
- Excellent computer skills
- Be able to write with proper punctuation and grammar
- High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
