Service Credit Union is seeking a Contact Center Lending-Funding Support Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely funding of consumer loans while providing essential administrative support to front-line staff. This role involves meticulous attention to detail in processing loan documents, tracking and reporting errors, and maintaining smooth operations within the Contact Center lending team.
Special Note: This position does not process Indirect, Real Estate or Business Loans.
Pay: Starting at $21.00 per hour. Flexible based on experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm EST

The Day to Day
Loan Funding:
- Process and fund consumer loans in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
- Verify loan documentation for accuracy and completeness before disbursing funds.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to loan funding.
Administrative Support:
- Assist front-line staff with various administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and member inquiries.
- Manage and organize electronic and physical loan files to ensure they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist staff (and members) with application follow-up via phone/email as needed. To include contacting dealerships for updated documents, sellers and members.
Error Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor, track, and report errors or inconsistencies in loan documentation and processing.
- Identify causes of errors and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of errors in which reports are generated for management review.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all loan processing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Contact Center Lending Specialists, and other team members to ensure efficient loan processing and funding.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Meridian Link/Loans PQ preferred, but willing to train qualifying candidates.
- Prior success cross selling payment protections preferred, but willing to train qualifying candidates.
- Proven track record identifying and selling cross sell opportunities.
- Able to identify problems, recommend enhancements, and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
- Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power point, and various web-based applications required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
