Cutter Operator
Job Summary
Located in Elkhart, IN the cutter operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a machine to cut paper stock for binding and/or folding.
Job Duties:
· Essential Functions:
· Will operate a cutter within our facility.
· Review specifications to determine page sequence, type of fold and page or sheet size.
· Versatile and willing to run all different types of machines and perform duties necessary to get the job done
· Operates pallet jacks and forklifts
· Ability to solve problems that require analysis
· Ability to interpret instructions, methods, processes to determine specifications for machine set -up
· Ability to measure
· Requirements
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Pays attention to detail and is driven to success
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· High School diploma or GED equivalent
· Able to stand /walk 8 hours on concrete floor
· Able to lift 50 lbs.
· Equipment:
· Cutters
· Pallet jack
· Optional: Printing assemblers
· Optional: Book stitching machines
Working Conditions
· Indoors
· Overtime as required
· Production attire
· Stand and walk on concrete for 8-hour shift.
· Lift and carry material up to 50 pounds.
· May Push and pull material on equipment and hand pallet jack

Education:
· High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
· Printing: 1 year (Preferred)
