We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Field Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee quality assurance and field operations for our HVAC installations and service projects. This role ensures that all fieldwork meets company standards, complies with codes, and exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect HVAC installations for quality, safety, and code compliance.
- Conduct site audits and verify that all work meets company and industry standards.
- Develop and implement QA checklists and procedures.
- Field Supervision:
- Support and supervise field technicians and crews on-site.
- Provide coaching and technical guidance to ensure high performance and workmanship.
- Address field issues and escalate when necessary.
- Customer Interaction:
- Conduct final walk-throughs with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Resolve any service or installation issues quickly and professionally.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed reports of inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
- Track quality trends and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on HVAC field experience, including installation and service.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical codes, and safety practices.
- EPA Certification and relevant trade licenses required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Work Conditions:
- Occasionally required to lift/move objects up to 75 lbs.
- Work may take place in residential properties, including crawl spaces, attics, and basements.
- Occasional need to ascend/descend ladders and maintain balance.
