Position Overview:
The Bilingual Working Supervisor will lead a team of cleaning staff to ensure all service commitments are met within budget and with the highest standards. This hands-on role involves managing daily operations, conducting quality audits, and addressing staffing needs. As a key member of the operations team, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact employee performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of cleaners to ensure performance standards are met.
- Recruiting & Training: Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and training new team members on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, arrange/provide coverage for call-outs, monitor service quality, and complete daily recaps of inspections.
- Inventory Management: Order and manage building supplies and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Client Relations: Respond promptly to client requests and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure safety protocols are followed, including uniform standards and the use of proper equipment.
- Education: A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the cleaning or facilities management industry.
- Skills:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Knowledge using mobile apps such as ExpressTime and CompanyCam is a plus!
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and staff in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a focus on team accountability
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds and carry a 25-pound backpack vacuum cleaner.
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, twisting, and kneeling.
- Must be willing to work in damp, dusty, or soiled environments and handle hazardous materials, including bodily fluids.
- Pay Rate: $21-$24 per hour (Non-Exempt, Full-Time)
