Janitorial Support Tech

As a Janitorial Support Technician, you would be responsible for cleaning one of our community's important local businesses ensuring that spaces are safe and hygienic for all occupants.

HOURS & RATE:

• Monday-Friday | 7am - 7pm Availability |
• $17.00 - 18.00 / hour

This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customers by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Some of these duties may vary and/or other duties may be assigned:

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Perform floor care duties; including buffing and waxing
- Conduct commercial and industrial cleaning activities
- Supports the management team by filling in, detail cleaning, retraining, supplying accounts as needed, driving to multiple job sites in the local area - Positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time - Have respect and understanding for co-workers and customers

Skills

- Communicate in English; read, speak and write
- 1-2 years experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques; including buffing, is a plus
- Ability to clean and maintain various surfaces
- Familiarity with janitorial duties
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members - Will provide on the job training
- Team Lead experience, is a plus
