What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Cleaning position at ServiceMaster of Allentown?
- We have openings every day. Looking for 2 hires to split the available shifts. We are flexible on how to split them depending on applicants availability.
- 2-3 hour shifts available, Day shift with a Flexible start time
- Example shift 1: M, W, F - 3 hrs each (9 hours per week)
- Example shift 2: M - F - 2-3 hrs each (13 hours per week)
- Example shift 3: Sat and Sun - 2 hrs each (4 hours per week)
- Example shift 4: T, Th, Sat, Sun - 2 hrs each (8 hours per week)
- General Cleaning duties
- Bi weekly pay, Daily access of earned wages through ZayZoon
- Background check required
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and place order as trained
- Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene
Experience:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
