Key Responsibilities:
- Sales: Close sales after insurance approval, maintain communication, and ensure contracts are signed and policies reviewed.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary contact, manage expectations, and ensure paperwork is completed.
- On-Call Duties: Participate in after-hours emergency calls, contact customers promptly, and dispatch teams for large losses.
- Estimating: Create Xactimate estimates for initial losses, supplements, and change orders, ensuring profitability.
- Budget Management: Write estimates, oversee transitions to Project Managers, and maintain contact throughout the job.
- Financial: Assist with non-payment issues, collect deductibles, and understand mortgage company requirements.
- Documentation: Update job statuses in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and DASH, maintain effective documentation, and follow company procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience: Construction and/or estimating experience preferred; Xactimate certifications required within one year.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, computer skills (Word, Excel), and organizational abilities.
- Work Environment: Typical shifts are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential overtime and on-call rotation for emergencies. Work environments may vary and include hazardous conditions.
