We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Insurance Claims Coordinator to join our team in Skokie, IL. This position plays a critical role in managing insurance claims, coordinating with adjusters, and ensuring smooth claim processing for our customers.
Responsibilities:
✔ Manage the entire insurance claims process from initiation to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
✔ Liaise with insurance adjusters, agents, and customers to facilitate timely claim approvals and payments.
✔ Review and verify claim documents, including estimates, invoices, and adjuster reports.
✔ Maintain detailed claim records in company systems, ensuring all updates are documented.
✔ Coordinate communication between field technicians, customers, and insurance representatives to streamline claim resolution.
✔ Assist with billing and invoicing related to insurance claims to ensure proper reimbursement.
✔ Monitor claim progress and follow up on outstanding payments or additional documentation needed.
✔ Stay current with insurance industry regulations and trends to ensure best practices in claims management.
Qualifications:
✔ Previous experience in insurance claims processing, restoration, or construction industry preferred.
✔ Strong knowledge of insurance policies, Xactimate software, and claim filing procedures (preferred but not required). MICA is a plus!
✔ Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage customer and insurance relations effectively.
✔ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to track multiple claims simultaneously.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems for claim tracking and documentation.
✔ Ability to work independently while being a team player in a fast-paced environment.
