Summary :
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and nurturing strategic relationships with partners and / or potential customers. The Business Development Specialist will help develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. This position will work closely with the marketing team to implement initiatives in line with company standards and protocols for new and existing customers.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential new markets, customer segments, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Proactively source and qualify potential leads through networking, attending industry events, cold calling, and other outreach methods.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective customers, building trust and understanding their needs.
- Manage sales pipeline through internal system by tracking leads, qualifying opportunities, and progressing them through the sales cycle.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations to showcase company solutions and value proposition to potential customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to seamlessly onboard new customers and ensure successful implementation of services.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers to identify additional business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to management on sales progress and market insights.
