Job Overview: The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with the ability to motivate and develop key personnel, ensuring high standards of service across multiple sites. Must be able to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily janitorial operations across the assigned region.
- Planned travel and availability to leave when needed.
- Lead and motivate a team of site managers and janitorial staff.
- Conduct site visits regularly, with frequent travel required.
- Communicate effectively with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform cleaning duties alongside team members as needed.
- Schedule, hire, and train new staff; provide shift coverage when necessary.
- Assist with new site start-ups and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain strong organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in janitorial management or a similar role.
- Physically capable of performing job duties and being on your feet most of the day.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently, especially during the initial period.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Energetic, hardworking, and friendly with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
