Key Responsibilities:
- Execute desk equipment checks and verifies current configurations against established standards.
- Follow task lists or individual work orders for desk audits and installations.
- Adhere to scripted protocols for hardware installations and perform systematic tests to ensure all equipment functions correctly.
- Carry out basic repairs, including the replacement of missing or defective cables, adaptors, and remote controls.
- Utilize the customer system to raise tickets for all equipment-related issues.
- Complete and upload all relevant forms to the customer’s record repository.
- Maintain comprehensive logs and documentation for reporting purposes.
- Abide by company policies, safety regulations, and business guidelines.
- Engage in professional communication with clients and colleagues.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment as required.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience is mandatory.
- While prior experience with IT equipment and peripherals is advantageous, a positive attitude and a strong commitment to task completion are paramount.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, is required, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
