As a Telecom Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure and systems to meet the specific needs of our client’s long-term project. This position requires expertise in network design, troubleshooting, and optimizing telecom systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Telecom Infrastructure Design & Implementation:
- Design, configure, and deploy telecom networks, including voice, data, and wireless communication systems.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom equipment and infrastructure.
- System Maintenance & Optimization:
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Analyze system performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Network Support & Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve telecom network issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Provide technical support for telecom-related incidents and escalations.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and user guides.
- Compliance & Security:

- Education:

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in telecom network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with telecom equipment, including routers, switches, PBX systems, VoIP, and wireless technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SIP, MPLS) and telecom standards.
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, network analyzers, and telecom monitoring software.
